Staff Biographies

Pastor – Scotty Hendricks
Scotty is a native of Pickens County, SC and grew up in the Pickens community. Scotty lives in the Eastatoe Valley in upper Pickens County with his wife Sandra. They have three daughters, eight grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Scotty surrendered to the ministry in 1997, licensed to the ministry that same year, and was ordained in 1998. He has a Bachelors Degree in Christian Ministry and has pastored three other churches before coming to Enon. Scotty loves the Lord and simply wants to serve Him and do what He has called him to do. It is Scotty’s desire to serve the Lord to the best of his ability, and to be the spiritual leader in the church while still filling the roll of a servant to His congregation. 
Youth Director – Jimmy Bagwell
Jimmy was born in Greenville, SC and grew up in the Easley community. He came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at age 12 at Camp McCall while attending Jones Ave. Baptist Church, and committed his life to full-time Christian Ministry there too. Jimmy is married to Brittany Goodwin Bagwell and has 2 young children, Melanie and Joseph. Jimmy and his family joined Enon Baptist Church in 2012. Since joining with Enon, Jimmy has worked with our students, children, tech team, and is an ordained deacon of our church. Jimmy also attends North Greenville University where he is studying for his BA in Christian Ministry. Jimmy also coaches with Easley Little League and Easley Softball. Jimmy is also a certified first responder trained in CPR, First Aid, and AED. It is Jimmy and Brittany’s passion to see young people come to an intimate relationship with Jesus and become disciples who carry out the Great Commission throughout their lives. (Matthew 28:16-20)
Children’s Director – Joy Dover
Joy was born in Easley, SC and grew up in the Enon Baptist Church community.   She came to a saving knowledge of Christ when she was 11 while attending Hunts Memorial Baptist Church.  Joy is married to Steve Dover and they have 2 sons, 2 daughter-in-loves and 3 granddaughters.  Before joining with Enon Baptist, Joy served at Rices Creek Baptist as the Acteens director, taught youth Sunday school and sang in the choir.   She joined Enon 19 years ago and since that time has taught Mission Friends, assisted with the children’s program and taught various Sunday school classes from nursery to adults.   Joy has been VBS Director periodically over the past 19 years.   She is the Praise Team coordinator and enjoys singing with the choir.   Joy is also a certified first responder trained in CPR and first aid.   Joy is excited to be the children’s director at Enon and looks forward to planning events for the children to enjoy learning about Christ.   Joy says her goal is to show and teach children the love of Christ.
