Equipping, Encouraging, & Empowering

Who We Are...

All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Matthew 28:18-20

The church exists to manifest the glory of the Lord and carry out the Lord’s work in the world. For this reason we, as Enon Baptist Church, seek to honor and glorify the Lord in all that we do. Our desire is to prepare ourselves for the work of the Lord’s Kingdom, and to serve faithfully as spiritual salt and light to the culture in which we live.

Jesus’ parting words to his apostles are instructive to us even today in accomplishing these goals. It is because all authority has been given to Him that we are committed to carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and living out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39). We are confident that we can be successful in these endeavors because Christ gives us the grace to be faithful to Him. Moreover, it is because He has promised to be with us even to the end of the age that we are diligent to be bold witnesses for Him seeking to make disciples, baptize them, and teach them all that He has commanded through the Scripture.

Therefore, we are unapologetically committed to the inerrancy of God’s Word as the only rule for Christian faith and conduct. We are firmly convinced that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God unto salvation, and is the only means by which one can be put into a right relationship with God Himself. Finally, we are irresistibly compelled to be faithful to our calling to fulfill the Great Commission and live out the Great Commandment. Moreover, to this end, our ministry has a three-fold focus

1. Equip

bulletWe seek to equip believers in Christ with the tools needed to faithfully serve the Lord in our community and around the world.
bulletWe also seek to equip those who do not know Christ as Savior and Lord by giving them a clear presentation of the gospel message concerning Jesus and what He accomplished on the cross.

2. Encourage

bullet We desire to encourage believers in Christ to use their God-given gifts to promote the gospel within their sphere of influence.
bulletWe also desire to encourage those who have not received Jesus as Lord and Savior to understand that they are indeed sinners in need of the Savior.

3. Empower

bulletWe strive to empower believers in Christ to do ministry by providing various contexts in which to minister to a variety of needs.
bulletWe also strive to empower those who need a Savior by giving them a heartfelt and sincere offer to come to Christ and be saved from the power and punishment of sin.

We invite you now to explore our website to see the various ministries that are offered here at EBC. We also hope that you will print the directions then come worship with us and meet us in person. Also, feel free to contact us with any need you have in which we may be able to assist.
