DEDICATION
To Reverend Grady Henry Tollison, who heard and answered God's call into the Gospel Ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ, I dedicate this book with a prayer of appreciation for his untiring efforts, faithful service, and sacrificial life in pastoring Enon Baptist Church for fifteen years.

FOREWORD
History has to do with all past, present, and future events. It is exciting for those who will take the time to study the accounts of the past.
Today, you and I are making history. The church has exhibited from the beginning a very important place in the events of the past. One cannot study the history of the church, without coming face to face with the importance of those events that brought us this far. The church must be at its best for the future.
Enon Baptist Church has an interesting history. As we look back to 1851, we can feel the fellowship of the past, the faith of today, and the glory the church holds for the future.
As a minister, I thank Christ Jesus, our Lord, who has enabled me, that He counted me faithful, calling me into the ministry. (I Timothy 1:12)
I am thankful to God for His leadership in calling me to be the pastor of Enon Baptist Church and the privilege of being a part of its great history, standing where other men of the Lord stood to preach the Gospel.
"I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is me if 1 preach not the gospel." (I Corinthians 1: 16)
I am aware that from 1851 until 1982 every member has added their influence to the past, present, and also to the future events of Enon Baptist Church.
I appreciate Mrs. Ethel Bracken and the committee for a job well done. I am sure as you read the history of Enon, it will bring back many experiences and memories to your mind and heart. I believe it will enable you to know the One who loved the church and gave Himself for it.
